Northwest Catholic-Windsor preview

February 17, 2012 Terrence Payne

The Windsor Warriors host the Northwest Catholic Indians Friday night in a match-up of Connecticut elite.

Both teams enter the contest with identical 17-1 records.

Since losing to East Catholic back on Jan. 10, Windsor has been on a rampage. The Warriors have beaten all but two teams by double-digits during their 10-game winning streak.

Windsor has a nice blend of youth and experience led by senior captain Jerry Buchanon and freshman Jared Wilson-Frame.

Northwest Catholic, on the other hand, has yet to drop a game to a team from Connecticut this season. The Indians only loss game back during the Hoophall Classic when DeMatha Catholic rolled over them 78-57.

Kuran Iverson will lead the charge for Northwest, leading them to a pair of wins on this four-game road trip to end the season.

Tip-off for this game is at 7 p.m.
