Northfield Mount Hermon's Hector Harold transfers to Vermont

Hector Harold is returning to the east coast next season, as the Pasadena, Calif. native will transfer to Vermont this fall. The 6-foot-7 former NMH standout made his decision on Wednesday night.
Harold played one season at Pepperdine in 2010-2011. In his lone season with the Waves, Harold averaged 1.0 point and 0.6 rebounds per game in 16 contests.
The change of scenery could help the former NEPSAC honorable mention player, who told the Burlington Free Press that he likes the chemistry of the UVM players.
The Catamounts may have a steal on their hands. Harold was a big recruit coming out of NMH, averaging 16 points and six rebounds in 2009-2010.
