Kuran Iverson 2.0 - Northwest Catholic forward is back

It's been an up-and-down three years for Northwest Catholic small forward Kuran Iverson. As a freshman, many had him as a five-star prospect and a top-10 player in the 2013 class. Only years later the 6-foot-8 Iverson would be written off by those same rankings, sliding down over and over again.
This week at the NBPA Top 100 Camp in Virginia, Iverson wowed his critics and begun to silence his doubters. His name surfaced to the top of the lists for almost every scout in attendance. He had 14 points, nine rebounds and three assists in the camp's title game.
"Kuran Iverson's rep is he doesn't play hard. He did at the Top 100 Camp," tweeted ESPN's Tim McCormick.
"Wow, crazy how things change in two years. Two years ago he was great, last summer he struggled and now he's killing again," tweeted Eric Bossi of Rivals.com.
I got a chance to talk to Iverson after the Hall of Fame New England Championships at Wesleyan back in April and he understood where he was in the rankings and that he had slipped, but he geniunely didn't seem to care. Even at a young age, he hasn't gotten caught up in the where he thinks he should be and understands the subjective nature of rankings.
"It does motivate me a little, but I'm not into it. I know who should be where," Iverson said back on Apr. 21. "At the end of the day, rankings don't mean anything."
According to Iverson, Florida is the most interested in him. Oklahoma State and Seton Hall are also both on his list. Also from the HOF New England Championships, UConn had slipped a little since all the trouble the program faced this season.
