Wayne Selden cuts his list down, maybe provides hints to where he will land

Paul Biancardi, ESPN's director of recruiting, tweeted Saturday afternoon that Tilton School 2013 guard Wayne Selden has cut his list of schools down to just six: UCLA, Florida, Ohio State, Syracuse, Kansas, and Missouri.

Even though Selden's final six are scattered across the country, the 6-foot-4 shooting guard could have his decision swayed by where his former/current Titlon and BABC teammates end up.

During the 2012 Hoophall Classic in January, when asked about the possibility of teammates influencing his decision, Selden told MassLive.com's Jimmy Kelley: "It might. It depends on the program."

On Selden's final list, several teams have players from either Tilton or BABC. Syracuse sophomore shooting guard Mike Carter-Williams played with Selden on the AAU circuit and Saturday night was making his case for Selden to join him at Cuse.

Along with Carter-Williams, Syracuse has also offered Tilton forward Goodluck Okonoboh.

Missouri, over the last few years, has started to develop a pipeline with the Boston-based AAU program. Phil Pressey is going into his junior year, while Alex Oriakhi will end his collegiate career this season, after transferring from UConn in April. Dominique Bull, Selden's Tilton and BABC teammate, is an incoming freshman.

Like Syracuse, Mizzou has also offered Okonoboh.

Back in June, Selden elected to reclassify to join the class of 2013.
