Noah Vonleh named Preseason All-American by USA Today, New Hampton big reclassifies

New Hampton 2013 forward Noah Vonleh received big praise earlier this week, being selected as preaseason All-American by USA Today.

Out of the ten players selected Tuesday, the 6-foot-9 Vonleh is the only New England product.

Vonleh has been in the news consistently over the past few months. Heading into the year he was one of the more sought after players regardless of class, but stirred things up when he decided to reclassify in September. Within the last two weeks Vonleh has trimmed his list of offers down to only Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio State, Syracuse, Gerogetonw and UConn.

Vonleh is set to play fellow preseason All-American, Huntington Prep's 2013 small forward Andrew Wiggins, this season during the 2013 Hoophall Classic.

More news came out of New Hampton this week, as head coach Pete Hutchins tweeted that 6-foot-8 forward, Tory Miller will reclassify and become part of the Class of 2014. Miller, the Missouri native, has offers from Arkansas, Minnesota, Colorado St. and Nebraska. Like many others, the move back a class will likely spark a rise in his recruitment.
