NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The offers and interest from Brewster Academy 2014 guard Jared Terrell and Kimball Union 2014 power forward Abdul-Malik Abu have increased during 2012, but according to Terrell, the Expressions Elite teammates still could join up in college.

"We haven't talked about it a lot," said Terrell, following Brewsters win over St. John's Northwestern Academy on Sunday at the National Prep Showcase. "We've had the conversation about it before. We want the best situation for right."

The two have been linked together as a potential package deal for much of their recruitment. Both New England prospects hold similar offers such as Boston CollegeUConnProvidenceUMass, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Seton Hall, Rutgers, Temple, Florida State and Miami (FL).

Recently, North Carolina has shown interest in Terrell and Abu, but for the two to join together, it will have to be the best decision for both.

"We're okay with going to different schools," said the 6-foot-3 Terrell. "We'll probably have the conversation again over the summer."
