BasketBull Hoops Fest - Catholic School Showcase Recap Day 4

The final day of the BasketBull Hoops Fest wrapped up at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Mass. on Sunday. In three games, six Catholic schools took the floor as part of the four-day showcase.

Holy Cross (N.Y.) 67, Jean De Brebeuf 59

The New York squad was one of three teams to go 2-0 during the Hoops Fest this season. The Knights trailed by seven at half, but like the first game - in a win against St. Joseph's (Mass.) - Holy Cross was able to turn it up in the second half, outscoring Jean De Brebeuf 41-26. Josh Wallace had 15 points for Holy Cross with Terrell Williams and Keanu Jean-Gilles each had 12. Nemanja Zarkovic led the Canadian prep team with 12 points.

Springfield Cathedral (Mass.), St. Theresa's 44

Cathedral got off to a slow start, down three after the first quarter. But in the second quarter, Cathedral went on a 24-6 run to take a commanding lead, the Panthers wouldn not look back from. Lou Garcia hit 5-of-10 3-pointers en route to 17 points. Darrick Boyd had a game-high 20 points for Cathedral - who went 2-0 on the weekend. Stephen Hayley had 19 points for St. Theresa's.

Catholic Memorial 87, St. Raphael 46

Catholic Memorial jumped out to a 24-14 lead following a 7-0 run to begin the game. The Knights never trailed and scored seven straight points to enter halftime with a 52-35 lead. Catholic Memorial started the half on an 11-0 run to put the game away. Gullien Smith had 14 points, three rebounds, and four rebounds to lead CM. Charles Correa playing with an injured right hand had 13 points, five assists and three steals for the Saints.
