Jack Fay getting looks from Cornell to Grinnell

Last week, Kendall Jackson committed to Columbia. In December, Colin Pascoe and Mack Montague made their commitments to Connecticut College and Rochester, respectively.

That leaves, Jack Fay, still on the board for Suffield Academy. The 2013 guard has a wide-range of recruitment. He's drawing interest from Cornell in the Ivy League all the way to Division III Grinnell, that was made famous by Jack Taylor's 138-point performance in November

Brandeis, Clarkson, and St. Lawrence are also in the mix. Fay said he's visited all schools, except Cornell and will take a visit to St. Lawrence in the spring.

When Fay visited Grinnell in November, he didn't expect much from his visit to the Iowa campus.

"I was actually at the game," said Fay in December, referring to Taylor's performance. "That was actually my visit. It was pretty cool. That's a cool visit to see that.

Despite recently adding interest from Division I, Cornell, Fay hasn't received much attention from Division II teams.

"I talked to a couple of D2 schools briefly over the summer, but I haven't heard much back from them."

The 6-foot-2 Fay is a versatile guard, with the ability to play both positions. The lefty has added another shooter on the perimeter for Suffield, as well as great court vision and passing ability.
