Phillips Exeter 2013 wing Chris Braley announced his decision Thursday night and the top player in the state of Maine has picked Stony Brook of the American East.
Braley made his announcement on his Twitter account Thursday afternoon.
"I'm excited to get to play for such a great coach in @CoachPikiell for@SBAthletics in the @AmericaEast," he later tweeted.
The 6-foot-4 Braley is known for his toughness and 3-point shooting ability. He isn't limited to the perimeter, with the ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. Braley impressed during July's Hall of Fame National Invitational Tournament when he hit a clutch three to lift Middlesex Magic over MBNation in the final, en route to MVP honors.
During the AAU circuit, Braley stated that he held interest from has interest from Bucknell, Colgate, New Hampshire, Boston University, Maine and Albany.
Braley, in his second season at the Exeter since transferring from Nokomis High School (ME), joins Holderness School's small forward Roland Nyama as memebers of the Seawolves recruiting class.
