One of the best remaining point guards came off the boards Monday, according to multiple reports. New Hampton 2013 point guard Travis Jorgenson committed to Georgia Tech.

Eric Bossi of Rivals.com first reported the news, as he did back in October when Jorgenson decided to decommit from Missouri.

The 6-foot Jorgenson elected to reopen his recruitment after feeling uncomfortable with his decision.

"I wanted to see what else was out there, trying to find the right fit for me," Jorgenson said in November at the National Prep Showcase in New Haven.

Jorgenson picked the Yellow Jackets over offers Boston College, Creighton, Oklahoma State and Virginia among others.

Georgia Tech is getting an old school point guard. He runs the offense with great handles and is quick to push the ball up the floor. Does a great job of getting people involved, playing this season with the inside presence of Noah Vonleh and Tory Miller.

The Columbia, Mo. joins small forward Quinton Stephens (Marist School/Atlanta, GA) as part of Georgia Tech's Class of 2013.
