Raiders' 2nd-half onslaught dumps Holy Cross (CT)

On a night when Torrington High’s Des-mond Williams celebrated the 1,000th point of his career, the Red Raiders pulled off their biggest win of the season.
Backed by Williams’ 39-point performance, Torrington rallied with a 51-point second half to overtake Holy Cross, 78-69, in boys basketball Tuesday night at the Connie Donahue Gymnasium.
