
The Holy Cross women’s basketball team released its 2009-10 schedule yesterday. The Crusaders open Nov. 13 at Yale and play seven of their first eight games on the road. Holy Cross faces defending national champion UConn Nov. 20 at the DCU Center. HC plays its first game at the Hart Center Dec. 5 against Northeastern.

Since then, the majority of the program's top teams have been trying to put another banner in that empty space. South Florida (26-10) kicked off the game in attack mode, scoring the first points on two steals within a minute of each other by freshman guard Jasmine Wynne (19 points). Although BC (23-12) seemed off-balance from the start, the Eagles countered the Bulls' defensive energy by winning the boards, totaling 22 rebounds in the first 20 minutes.
